This summer I teamed up with director/editor Jo Apps to film the new video for DJ Hell’s song “U Can Dance” featuring Roxy Music’s Bryan Ferry. We pulled in our talented friends Nova Dando for styling, and Thomas de Kluyver for makeup as well as a host of deadly models from Models 1 and Union Models. Kate Ellery, Shannon Tillery and Annie Hamill slinked about the studio in Nova’s custom made catsuits emulating the iconic models of the nineties we were so inspired by whilst conceptualizing this video. Nova Dando is responsible for styling the likes of Beth Ditto and La Roux. Jo Apps has edited for many an East-end London band and made her directorial debut with Simian Mobile Disco’s “The Audacity of Huge”.
